A) Ramesh Builders wanted to give their customers a grand experience, and for that, they contacted Messung to execute this project.
B) The requirement was clear (in a nutshell): create a solid foundation for a smart home that is easily upgradable in the future.
C) Detailed requirements were as follows:
A) Basic lighting control in living, dining, and master bedroom.
B) Curtain control in living.
C) A customized glass keypad to match the aesthetics of the room with proper symbols.
D) Digital door lock to every apartment’s main door.
E) Video door phone, an indoor and outdoor unit for each apartment. A lobby panel and a guard phone at the security cabin for visitor tracking and monitoring.
F) Access control for lobbies and lifts.
G) CCTV cameras in common areas with viewing and recording at the security cabin.
A) To achieve the client’s mandate of customized keypads, Messung provided Zennio’s world-class toughened glass capacitive keypads with complete customization for color, text, and symbols.
B) Provided a 4.1″ master control touch screen at the entry of the apartment. With this, the client can control automation room-wise and also function-wise (individual and scene control). Example: A programmed ‘morning’ scene will turn off all lights and ACs and open the curtains. This master panel also provides a smartphone app for every member of the family.
C) Every room has three small touch keypads (at the entry and both the sides of the bed). The entry keypad has basic functions like a master on/off scene and a welcome scene. One keypad at the bedside has all controls for AC, and the other is for general lighting and curtain for ease of operation with proper icons.
D) Considering the big size of the living area, we added one more keypad for convenience. An eight touch display keypad is just a perfect addition to the room. The client can modulate AC temperature, open and close curtains, set proper luminance according to the day and night time.
E) Installed a stylish looking 3.5″ touch display keypad in the master bedroom. It works like a mini-master control, and the client can control the entire apartment through this keypad.
F) A digital door lock is installed on the main door for keyless entry. It can take a password and recognize a thumb impression.
G) A 7″ video door phone indoor monitor installed in the living area to monitor and allow guests to the apartment. With a lobby panel and guard phone at security, it is easy to view, talk, and allow or restrict visitor entry on the premises.
A) To match the interior and elevate the rooms’ aesthetics, Messung installed tailor-made, elegant glass capacitive touch keypads in the living, dining, and master bedroom.
B) These capacitive touch keypads are mainly for lighting control with proper symbols on them. Wiring provisions for curtains, ACs, and fans are already in place. So, if a customer wants to upgrade their controls in the future, it can be done with minimal effort.
C) A digital door lock is installed on the main door for keyless entry. It can take a password and recognize a thumb impression.
D) A 7″ video door phone indoor monitor is installed in the living area to monitor and allow guests to the apartment. The security is further enhanced with a lobby panel and a guard phone at the security cabin for easy two-way communication to allow or restrict visitors on the premises.
A) Installed 8 CCTV cameras live streaming and recording at the security cabin.
B) Installed access control systems in the lobby and lifts to guide the visitors to the right floor and reduce a false and unwanted entry in the corridor of every floor.
A) The client was delighted with the solutions and services provided for the project. The whole project got sold out within three months of launching.
B) The customers were impressed too; Messung has upgraded most of the apartments over the KNX Automation solution.
